§ 111.02. LICENSES FOR AMUSEMENT DEVICES, ARCADES, OR BILLIARD PARLORS; FEE.

  • (A) Each exhibitor, as defined in § 111.01, shall obtain from the Clerk-Treasurer on or before January l of each year a license good from January l to the following December 31 for each amusement device displayed on or in use on any premises under his possession, control, or ownership, or as soon thereafter as any amusement device is installed. This license shall be $10 for each device. The license is transferable to other machines, but shall not be transferable to other exhibitors.
    (B) There is levied upon each amusement arcade or billiard parlor an annual fee of $25 due and payable to the Clerk-Treasurer.
    (C) The license described in division (A) above shall be displayed publicly.
    (D) Prior to issuing licenses to any exhibitor for an amusement device, the Clerk-Treasurer shall request and the exhibitor shall provide a certification from the Department of Building Inspection attesting to proper zoning and meeting of building code requirements.
