§ 31.02. AUTHORITY OF CITY TO EMPLOY LEGAL ASSISTANCE.

(A) Legal assistance may be employed by the city.
(B) In the event that funds in excess of the amount appropriated in the budget for legal assistance in any year are needed, the Common Council shall approve by resolution the terms upon which legal assistance is retained by the city.
